Pathways to Connection: The Next Phase of Our Commitment
At Boyds Mills, we believe that every trail is a bridge to creativity and community, connecting spaces and people here on our campus.
In 2026, we’re launching the next phase in our commitment to campus pathways.
Our goal for this phase of the Pathways Project is simple but transformative: We are extending our pathway system to our Back Cabins, creating a level, safe trail that joins last year’s inaugural pathway, the Barn, and the Back Cabins.
This expansion ensures that all our cabins will be connected by a pathway, providing access to key community spaces that make the Boyds Mills experience so special.
Setting the Stage: Our 2025 Community Giving Project
Last year, our community helped us launch 2025 Pathways to Connection campaign in a huge way, helping us to build our first stone-paved pathway on campus. Thank you to all who supported the project!
Here are some completed photos of the path, as well as photos from the ribbon cutting:
UPDATE: Halfway to Our Goal, Construction Underway
As of June 2026, we have surpassed the halfway point in our goal for this year’s project!
Thank you to all who have given to this project.
We’re also excited to announce that construction has begun on the 2026 project. We’ve already completed the main portion of the project connecting the Back Cabins.
SUPPORT THE PATHWAYS in 2026!
This is an ambitious project, and thanks to the incredible support of our generous community, we’ve successfully completed large-scale projects before—like our solar sustainability initiative, to name just one!
We’re ready for Community Giving 2026 and hope that you are too! Support the campaign today—donations at all levels make a huge impact!
