A.M. Wild is a queer, nonbinary children’s book author who believes that books are places where we can collectively hope and heal. Their debut title, Not He or She, I’m Me was named one of the most empowering books of the year by Kirkus (2023), was named an American Library Association Stonewall Children’s Honor book (2024), and was included in the Rainbow Book List for best in lgbtqia+ youth Books (2025). Two picture books are forthcoming in 2027, Mama, Zaza, and Me, acquired by Henry Holt Books for Young Readers, and The People’s Beach, acquired by Kokila.
