Award-winning nonfiction author Nancy Castaldo has written nonfiction picture books, chapter books, middle grade and young adult books for over 25 years. Her books have earned many awards and accolades, including the Green Earth Book Award, two Crystal Kite Awards, NSTA Best STEM Book, Eureka Silver Honors, Notable ALA, and numerous Junior Library Guild Selections. She is currently the Regional Advisor Emeritus of SCBWI Eastern NY. She has vast experience reviewing manuscripts and books, serving on SCBWI’s Golden Kite Committee, WIP award committee, and Boyds Mills faculty. She has also served as a judge for the Rachel Carson Book Award. Nancy believes that we all can make a difference and always instills that theme in her books.
